With the introduction of technology, the world is on a level playing field. Globalization has transformed the world from a "where it is to a where it should be state" as a result of technology enabling the transportation of resources and the instant transfer of information to create a borderless society in which we all must find our place. The scale is so large that very few people are unaffected, including the citizens of Hanover. The influence is felt even in the most remote places like Cold Spring, Hanover, where mobile phones exist in areas where infrastructure for land-laid cables does not exist. What was once a pipe dream has now become communication made possible through wireless technology.
Education is the mechanism by which Hanover can compete in this new globalized society. Realizing this, the Foundation has launched a few projects designed to enable Hanoverians to compete.

Hanover Adopt a School Program |
The adopt-a-school program was established to:
- Encourage expatriates and residents of Hanover and or companies to sponsor a school they would like to support and to take an active role in the education of our nation's youth.
- Encourage the teachers and the students to raise the standard of learning. Annually, the Foundation will select and honor four (4) schools - highlighting their contributions to raising the standard of learning.

Hanover Scholarship Fund |
HHF has created a scholarship fund for the citizens of Hanover with two goals in mind.
- First, the fund will provide a mechanism for individuals or groups to give money in the name of a deceased and/or living family member or friend.
- Second, the fund will be used to help Hanoverians in need of financial
assistance to attain the skills, training and education to become productive citizens.

Hanover Beautification Project |
HHF, Inc. has developed a beautification program, which is aimed at the greening of Hanover. The mission of the Beautification Program is to encourage involvement in keeping Hanover an attractive parish in which to work, play and live. Before one can have "National Pride," we must first have "Parish Pride!"

Sustainable Development Plan |
Hanover, rich in its culture, is home to one of the oldest leading institutions in Jamaica - the Rusea’s Comprehensive High School. Despite its rich history, Hanover is one of the least-developed and recognized parishes in Jamaica. It is, however, the hope of the Foundation to help develop, build and promote the parish.
